Recent Fixes
People send me their Cell Phones for water exposure
I charge $60 for cell phones. If I can't make it work you will get it back with a $30 refund.

Water cases are complex and successful on a case by case basis. I never know if I can bring them back to life or not until they are here and I examine and try. Sometimes it is merely a thorough processing of the device for corrosion which is just $60. Other times one (or more) parts has actually failed and needs to be replaced to bring it back to life.
If I can't get it working a perfectly you get the device back with a cash refund of $30 and the knowledge there was nothing on planet earth that would have gotten it working again.
The time aspect since immersion makes a difference, but *we* (you and I) will never know if it can be made to work until I see it take it apart and try. For the $60 fee ($30 if I can't make it or it's so bad you elect not to repair it ) it is cheap to learn the truth. It should take 5 stamps on a padded envelope or a plastic bubble mailer to get the phone *and* it's recharger from there to here with a total "out of your hand and back into your hand again" experience of 7 maybe 8 days depending on where a Sunday falls.
YOU MUST INCLUDE THE CELL BATTERY RECHARGER, SO I KNOW I CAN RECHARGE THE BATTERY TO TEST IT!!!
If you want it sent back to you using Priority Mail add $5.
If you want your iPod sent back using Priority Mail and Insured add $11
BE CERTAIN TO INCLUDE, -->> your name, address, phone number and email address (a more practical way to reach people because of time zones) and a brief narrative as to what has happened.
Send it along with a check for $60
(or you can PayPal in the funds by the time it arrives) contact me for the PayPal address
to the address below. If there is an unexpected discovery and somehow additional parts are required, I'll contact you by email and we will decide together if it's cost effective. If you move forward with the repair you can PayPal in the money for the parts, I'll know more once it's "in the operating theatre".

More on my fees is here. The $60 labor fee for phones always includes return shipping (except international where it's $15 more and they are sent back Global Priority Air) and you get a refund of $30 if somehow I can't or it's impractical to do the repair.
