Daniel Smerken called Olympia, Washington.
He has two 5th Gen Video iPod's that needed attention.

One needed the LCD screen replaced the other needed to be rebuilt after it had been dropped and the hearing for both ears ceased.

I fixed them both, the lcd was $33 and labor/return shipping was $40

Once I rebuilt the other one the hearing both ears was restored, cost for that was $40

Daniel used PayPal to send in $113 which covered them both.

Fixed - Total cost $113.

Scott Keith found me on the internet and called me early one day from Methuen, Massachusetts.
His 5th Gen video iPod had hearing from just the left side earbud which is a consequence of dropping it with the earbuds in and having it land on the plug driving it in far enough that it permanently damages the right side positive connection inside the jack.

He sent it and I got it on May 30th. It was sent back fixed the next day Saturday May 31st 2008. The headphone jack part was $35 and labor/return shipping was $40

Fixed - Total cost $75.

Patricia Dunphy-Addiss of Middle Isle, New York discovered the work I do on water immersed on the internet.
It seems if you type the words "ipod dropped in water" in most search engines I come up first.

Her daughter's Nano 3rd Generation iPod went into I think the washing machine. It arrived and I was able to get it working perfectly once I had replaced the LCD which was cloudy from water being trapped between the layers of the LCD which left it with the look of grey clouds floating through the background while the iPod was on.

She PayPal'd in the $33 for the LCD and her finished working iPod was sent back the next day.

Total cost to get it working again, $73

Fixed - Total cost $73.
