Jim Waters lives here in Santa Rosa and works for Amy's Kitchen
which is a local business turned regional that makes wholesome prepared food sold at places like Whole Foods. Jim has a 6th Gen video iPod and it stopped working leaving him a starry eyed sad face. He brought it by for me to examine and diagnose. The 80GB drive in it had stopped working and when I suggested he might remember when it was dropped creating the problem he actually remembered the incident.

The drive had to be replaced. The part was $100 and labor was $40

Fixed - Total cost $140.



Jeremy Ross lives here in Santa Rosa.
He had a 5th Gen video iPod that had broken LCD screen from dropping it. He gave me a call and set up an appointment to get it fixed. An hour later it was ready for hi. The LCD was $33 and labor was $40

Works perfectly now.

Fixed - Total cost $73.



Doug Ryan called me from New Orleans, Louisiana
about his 6th Generation video iPod. He had been using it when it started to rain and even though it had been two months already, he hoped I could make it work again. When I got it I could see the water damage. It had affected the battery and battery recharge circuits badly.

I was went through the device and was able to get it all working except for the battery which had to be replaced.

Here is a detail of some of the water damage.



The battery was $19 and labor/return shipping was $40. All of files on it were safe, he got it back from the dead, working *perfectly* for $59

Fixed - Total cost $59.
