Brooks Anderson came by with his daughters iMac
to have me help him out with an Adobe Creative Suite 3 installation. Since I have lots of experience and know the right boxes to check it went very smoothly.

This was a surprise for his daughter. She might have known the right boxes to check also but the surprise would have been spoiled.

It was quick and easy. It cost him $20 for the expertise.

Fixed - Total cost..$20.

Edward Bahia had a problem with his 5th Generation video iPod and emailed from Burbank, California

It wasn't exactly clear what the problem was but the iPod won't get through the boot up and this started after he bought a battery to replace the one in the iPod.

He sent it in from Burbank and I took it apart and made discovery. As part of the battery replace, the hard drive was taken out. During the drive removal the ribbon connection cinch locking lever was ripped off the hard drive. It's not a part that's replaceable, the entire drive has to be replaced.

Ed had sent in $40 and I sent him a PayPal request for funds to cover the $60 drive.

I had the repair done the same day and it was back in the mail to him the same afternoon it arrived. Total cost $100

Fixed - Total cost..$100.

Tim Leonard's Nano 8GB 3rd Generation was dropped in water.

He sent it in from St Helena, California, not far from here.

I took it from it agent18 style case and opened it up. When I was finished, I had the iPod working perfectly again. It didn't need any added parts.

Total cost to get Tim's $250 iPod back running perfectly again.... $40

Fixed - Total cost..$40.
