Philip Van Alstyne called from Las Vegas, Nevada
to determine if there was any hope for his son's 1st Gen iPod Touch. His son had accidentally dropped it into a sink full of water. We discussed the possibilities... up to a week before I had been able to get only 50% of Touch models that had been water immersed to work. However the week he called I had been able to get 3 out 3 working again.

We were both filled with hope and confidence from my recent experience and Phil's iPod arrived 3 days later on Friday December 5th. I worked on it over night and had it working and ready to ship back the next morning.

The total cost to get the iPod running and sent back again was $60

Fixed - Total cost $60.

Belinda Salas called from from Houston, Texas
about an iPod Touch that had water damage. I talked her through the process of my repairing iPods and my current success rate with Touch models which had been 50% until December of this year.

She sent it in and it arrived o December 1st 2008. It was among three Touch models that arrived for water difficulties that day. Belinda was one, Charlie Archer was another and Mary Glass was the third.

I was able to get it working again by the early evening.

The total cost to get her Touch repaired and working perfectly again was $60

On January 2nd 2009 I got this message of thanks from Belinda,

"Hello Frank,

So sorry I hadn't had the opportunity to tell you how grateful I was for the job well done. I wish you could have seen the excitement on my son's face that he started to cry when he got his I Touch back and with it all intact. I really didn't think it had any hope since it had been sitting so long with water damage. You are truly amazing and again Thank you so much for giving my son a Wonderful Christmas this year. ( That was all he wanted was his I Touch running again). May your New Year be filled with Much Happiness.

Sincerely

Belinda Salas
Houston Texas"

Fixed - Total cost $60.
