JJ,
I've been reading about "the Winemakers" series since last October.
You've put a lot of yourself into it. I believe you are well connected
enough with the wine industry (or at least the Paso area wine industry)
that you could get a message, a marketing concept message back to the
wine industry even if I don't become a finalist on the show.
It could actually lead to a cross promotion between the Food Network and
"the Winemakers" series.
I intended to present it when you were in San Francisco but the question
was never asked by the judges and therefore I never got the chance
reveal it. I am ardent in promoting wine as a beverage. The addional
wine sales for the industry, (I might guess 200,000 bottles a week at
first) are more important than whether I can present it as a contestant.
The question was, "How can the wine industry do a better job selling
wine to adult consumers?"
The answer is here

Look at question 5
If you can use the idea, you are welcome to it.
I think the concept is too valuable to the production and the wine
industry not to present at this time.
I hope we run into each other again.
