Nano iPod LCD screen repair while U wait 1-877- iPod - Pro - $73 (santa rosa)

The Nano 3rd Generation iPods are as slippery as a tiny bar of wet hotel soap. The device is fairly thin and the case flexes quite a bit without a lot of effort.

When you drop one the outer casing twists and flexes. A lot of time it's oaky afterward but.. it has an over sized LCD for the tiny device and many times the LCD breaks or cracks.

Anything that will break the LCD in a Nano constitutes 'abuse' and that voids the factory warranty. According to the maker proper use of the iPod includes not dropping it. By coincidence, in this case, the price for a factory repair is the same price as buying a new one. (However if you trade in the broken one they will give you 10% off... $15)

Naturally, when you buy a new one none of the music you had on it is on the new one. If you're like many people, you may have "grazed" music onto your iPod while at a friends house and connected to their iTunes Library... all those songs will be gone.

The good news... I can replace the broken LCD and you get to get to keep your music and videos for half the price... just $73 which will include shipping back to you.

This is clients iPod that was crushed in her dogs mouth. I've taken off the upper faceplate to reveal the broken LCD more easily.

I need the iPod for about 2 hours to make the LCD repair. The LCD screen is $33 and the labor (with return shipping if needed) is $40 for a total of $73.... about half the price of a new Nano.

I repair all other iPod too models too.

For recent repairs I've done in the past week for people click here. http://www.877ipodpro.com/recent_fixes.shtml

This is a link to my quite reasonable fee structure, basically $40 will get you everything but parts http://www.877ipodpro.com/fee_structure.shtml

If your iPod is already not working, and you've brought it to the Apple store and they "reset" it or "something" (but that didn't work). and now they will give 10% off a new one ($25 for the iPod you paid $400 for.... under a year ago?) for it as a trade in? Let's be serious, the counter staff there aren't iPod surgeons. They are sales people. And if it *is* under warranty, you get another (maybe refurbished) iPod with none of your music files on it... what more can you loose? I only charge $40 if I fix it, plus parts if needed. Can you afford to throw away a $400 investment you made for a "durable good" intended to last 3 or more years in exchange for a $20 bill?

Shouldn't you check it into the " iPod Hospital for Repair"

Give me a call, we will learn something more about iPods from each other.

Want to Sell your broken iPod? Contact me! We can work something out.
