Jason Franchetti lives in Santa Rosa California (95405) and comes from a well established family.
I went to Cardinal Newman High with his older brother. He was at the Apple Store downtown one night and brought his iPhone there to get it repaired. When he *finally* got a genius to help him, he was told the repair would be $200 and not by coincidence that was the price of refurbished (new) iPhone with a contract upgrade. The idea is to rope the customer into extending their contract with AT&T while "selling" them a new iPhone for $199.
He was incensed at the behavior and actually left. Just outside their door, he ran into a friend that told him about me. He might have even waited until he got out of the mall before calling me.
Jason is a Realtor with CPS Real Estate and relies on his phone continually. We set an appointment for 8am the next morning so I could get the upper glass/digitizer replaced and the iphone back to him by 9:30 the same morning.
Everything went smoothly. The part was $30 and labor was $60. He will be recommending me to his other realtor friends.
Fixed - Total cost $90.

Patrick Zaleski lives in Arnold Maryland (21012) near Washington DC.
He dropped his 16GB 2nd Gen iPod Touch in the toilet on New Years Eve Day. He called me not long afterward and we discussed the probability of success at a save. I received it a few days later.
This case took about a week to find the problems and correct them. There was a time when the Touch was completely dead and I couldn't get it lit or going at all. That lasted for 3 days. I tried one more thing and it made a difference.
Ultimately, the On/Off button wouldn't work so I had to replace the on/off-volume wire harness to get to work again.
Notice the WiFi connection and all of Pat's are still on it.
The part was $20 and labor/return shipping was $60
Fixed - Total cost $80.
