iPhone 3G/3GS or an iPhone 4/4S with faulty rear facing camera. I can fix it!
You can't get your iPhone to take photos again... if the problem is the rear facing camera.
I have a reputation for repairing iPhones that have been dropped in water. I also repair non-water immersed iPhones. The most common repair is for a cracked upper glass but I also do many other types of repairs.
When I repair your iPhone, all of your music, video and photos will still be there afterward. So will your contacts and calendaring and apps
I always encourage people to call me to discuss what they are having as a problem before sending their iphone into me. The reason is that a symptom is often mis-diagnosed by the phone user. Example:
"My rear camera doesn't work and I need it replaced."
That problem could be just one of a number of possibilities.
1) faulty camera itself (rare)
2) scraped up backplate at the place of the camera (yielding a bad image taken by a working camera)
3) water getting in and instituting corrosion at the camera's connection to logic board
I'm going to say this, the most common cause for a camera in an iPhone not working properly is corrosion from a water exposure that was left alone to eradicate the camera's connection to the logic board. Usually it leaves the jack on the logic board without damage.
If the backplate looks like the cause that has a different expense, but if the cause is really the camera, it can be replaced. look up what it costs in the table below.
In fact, it is also sometimes practical to notice what the condition of your battery is. It's a good time to replace the battery when this is being done because they both tend to wear out at the same rate. look at the "plus new battery" column for pricing that includes battery.
Pricing for all these aspects is in the tables below. Look up what it is for your model iPhone.
You can either bring or send your iPhone to me.
