Crystal C S lives in Bethesda, Maryland (3000 miles
away)
Crystal dropped her Video iPod and it stopped running and wouldn't power
back on. It didn't fit any of the typical symptoms but I was sure i could
fix it. She sent it in. I got it on Monday and began work to figure out
the problem. A couples of hours later I had it running again *WITH* all of
her music files and photos of her art work on it intact. it was sent back
to her the next morning after she PayPal'd over the $40 fee.
Fixed - Total cost..$40.

Julee C lives in Novato, California (25 miles
away) Her
Mini iPod didn't work. The cause wasn't obvious but I took it apart, gave
it an exam and determined the hard drive was bad. One new hard drive later
she is happily listening to her music again. Julee send her ipod in a
simple envelope. she chose to pick it up in person. Some of you may know
I'm a medal winning amateur wine maker. she happened to stop by at 'wine
time' so we along with some other friends here at the time had a glass. Fixed - Total cost to get iPod fixed..$70.

Josie M lives in Sayville, New York 11782 (2720 miles
away)her
best guess s that she dropped iPod somewhere inside her car and damaged
the screen. Like many people who live that far away she was a bit
reluctant to send her ipod across country to get the LCD fixed. But
Apple's wanting to charge and out of warranty repair fee of $210 was the
point where she became convinced. It got here with a money order for $73 a
few days later and I was able to replace the LCD and get it sent back to
her the same day.
Fixed - Total cost to get iPod fixed..$73. ($40
labor and return shipping, $33 for the screen.
