Melanie Leister got her son a new iPod Nao 5th generation in Silver/Black.
They live in Perkasie Pennsylvania (18944) and because the Nano 5th Gen so small it's easy to put through the washing machine and that's what happened to them. They didn't notice it until it was headed for the dryer....
When I got it, there were two noticeable problems. The battery wasn't working which could be the battery it self or the logic board not recharging it. Also the backlight for the LCD screen wouldn't turn on.
I went through the the iPod and was able to get the battery to hold a charge again. The LCD had to be replaced but I was able to get the radio, camera and iPod working again.
The LCD was $33 and labor/return shipping was $40
Fixed - Total cost $73.

Brandon Drake lives here in Santa Rosa California (95403)
and had a standard problem you've read about many times here. The right side of his headphones didn't work and it was driving him crazy to hear only the left side.
He brought his 6th Gen video iPod to me and I was to repair his iPod in an hours time. The part for it was $35 and labor was $40. Sanity for just $75
Fixed - Total cost $75.

Luis Gramjl lives in Pinole California (94564) he was in San Rafael
when I got a phone call. He needed to get the upper glass of his girlfriends iPhone replaced. Somehow (and I'm not sure how) he was responsible for breaking it.
They drove up and dropped it off for me to repair while they went to lunch nearby. (in a short time there will be an In and Out Burger two blocks from here) A little over an hour later they came back. It was ready and working perfectly for him. The part as $30 and labor was $60. A new looking iPhone for just $90
Oh.... and you know that anything that cracks the upper glass on an iPhones voids the warranty right? Anything that would crack the glass constitutes abuse and abuse voids the warranty.
Fixed - Total cost $90.
