Ed Zimmerman dropped his... or *someone* in the family dropped their 16 GB Nano 5th Gen iPod in the toilet one day.
He lives in Spring Valley California (91977) and called me to see how I would approach a toilet water case. this was far from the first time for that I told him and he sent it up with $40.

I took it apart and went through correcting things, by the time I was finished I had it working perfectly again. I didn't need to replace any parts so he paid merely my $40 labor/return shipping fee.

Total cost to get his iPod back working perfectly was $40

Fixed - Total cost $40.

Brian Meyers sent me his 6th Gen video iPod from Lincoln Nebraska (68505)
where he lives with a note that read,

"I left my iPod out on the lawn last summer on Jusy 3rd 2009 avernight. It rained cats and dogs that night and the next morning I discovered the iPod outside. It hasn't run since then."

Did I mention it arrived on March 1st so this rain event was 8 months in the past. Over a two day period I went through the device and painstakingly cleaned thing up to make them work again. in the end I needed to replace the battery which was $16 but all of files were recovered.

Total cost to get his $300 iPod back working after it's 8 month coma was $56

Fixed - Total cost $56.
