Ann Guiney lives in Oakland California (94602) and works in Emeryville at Amyris Biotechnologies.
She is an assistant to someone there. Amyris Biotechnologies is involved in making/designing baceria based bio-fuels. Think Algae that make... methane I suppose.
She dropped her iPhone 3G and smashed the upper glass/digitizer and broke the LCD and needed the display assembly repaired. We set an appointment for the next day and she got here around 2;30. i had it finished for her at 3:30 and she was able to beat traffic back to the city again.
The LCD was $30, the upper glass was $15 and labor was $60
Fixed - Total cost $105.

Shola Akognon calls himself "Choz" and lives in Petaluma Califronia (94954).
His 160Gb 6th Gen video iPod was put through the washing machine from what I can tell and was experiencing some problems. This model is the most expensive Apple has made in a while. He drove up and dropped it off with $40
By a week later, I was able to get it working again. The drive and logic board both had problems which I was able to work through.
The battery needed to be replaced. That was $16 and labor was $40
Fixed - Total cost $56.

Paul Horan lives in Arlington Virginia (22204) and works for the database company Sybase.
I was a database administrator in an earlier part of my life and it appears that Sybase has moved to mobile database applications of the sort you would use if you had an iPhone. In fact it was his iPhone he had a problem with. He came to Northern California, to run in the Napa Marathon. I think he would any reason to leave the snow in February on the Seaboard to come to sunny no rain even California.
He dropped his 16GB iPhone 3GS and smashed the upper glass and needed it replaced. He left it off while he went wine tasting in the area.
An hour later, I had it ready. The part was $30 and labor was $60
Fixed - Total cost $90.
