Hugh Brown lives in here in Santa Rosa.
Like many people he has reached his limit with devices he buys that have something go wrong and pretty much obligate you to throw them out rather than repair them.
He took his wife's iPod into the Apple Store to look into getting a new battery for it. They commented it was well out of warranty and the best thing to do was trade it for 10% off of a new one.
Hugh knows the difference between needing a battery that works and a non-working battery driven device.
He went home and found me listed on Craigslist and brought it by to have the battery replaced on the way to church Sunday December 9th 2007.
I had it ready for him to pick an hour later as prearranged and he got it on the way back from church.
The battery was $17 and the labor was $40. This is Hugh with the iPod.
Fixed - Total cost..$57.

Adrian Perez lives in Greenwood, South Carolina
she wrote "I have a 30GB Video iPod that I left last week at my Uncles house and I went back 2 days later to get it and didn't work at all. So nobody knew what happened with it until my 4 yr old cousin confessed he dropped it in the water while using it & he says it never played again so he left it there the 2 days hoping that when it dried up it might work again." Adrian's logic board needed to be replaced but her drive was perfect.
Here is her U2 Video iPod done.
Fixed - Total cost $130.

Samantha Rivera of Bronx, New York
sent in her Nano 2nd Generation. It had been run through the washer. Hers had a failed logic board due to corrosion and wasn't
able to be fixed. She got her iPod back and a refund of $20 from the $40 she sent in with it.
