Troy Cavallo called me from South San Francisco (94080)
where he works at Storage Concepts, a high density storage busines about his 60GB white 5th Gen video iPod. It had a cracked LCD and if that one aspect were repaired... it would be perfect again.
He sent it up and I had it finished for him and back the same day.
The LCD was $23 and labor/return shipping was $40 so for $63 he got back a perfect iPod again.
Fixed - Total cost $63.

Nancy Rosato called me from Stockton California (95210) about her daughters 16GB 2nd Gen iPod Touch.
It was dropped in the "icy water at Mirror Lake in Yosemite". We went through the process of things with me and it arrived a couple of days later.
I was able to make it all work again including the WiFi but the LCD had to be replaced because it had an interlace problem and was displaying only every other line leaving a very grainy image.
The LCD was $41 and labor/return shipping was $60
Fixed - Total cost $101.
