"it was in my aunts pool on upland, chlorines water i saw the blue container with the tablet chlorine in it... just about 6 seconds under water it fell in the 2-3 foot so i rushed my hand and pulled it out and started drying it sucking water with mouth.. bad thing i tried to START it and it gave me the menu slide to power off..or cancel n it froze..BATTERY was fully charged all the way.. im back in san jose monday around 2 ill try to ship it.. you think you can save it or no since i tried powering it on? thanks alot joe chavez"
It actually took him another 3 weeks to get it to me and yet I was able to get it all working again, with his files safely still on it and the WiFi connection working still . The LCD did have to be replaced and that was $31 but the total $91 repair was waaay less than a new one.
Fixed - Total cost $91.

Lydia Pugh lives in Billings Montana (59106) and sent me her iPod Touch 2nd Gen
after she had dropped it in a Jacuzzi whirlpool hot tub. I had it here for two days and was able to get all of Touch working again.
I didn't have to replace a thing on it. It works perfectly now including the WiFi.
Total cost to get her Touch back was the $60 labor/return shipping fee.
Fixed - Total cost $60.

Leslie Bauman sent her son Will's iPod Touch from Applegate California (95703)
where they live. Will dropped it in the bath tub one night. I was able to get working again after a couple of days. It had to replace the upper glass/digitizer but his files were safe and the WiFi worked again.
Total cost was $99
Fixed - Total cost $99.
