John Beardsley called me from Ankeny Iowa (50023) about his 8GB 2nd Gen iPod Touch
which had become water exposed..... well it was dropped in asink of running water at a restaurant he works at. I took him through the steps on how to send it in. Once it was here I worked at it for 3 days and finally got all aspects of it wroking again, including battery recharge circuits on logic board and the WiFi.
In his case I didn't have to replace any parts so the total to gt it working and sent back was only $60
Fixed - Total cost $60.
