Jeff Hudson lives here in Santa Rosa California (95405) but called from Hawaii where was vacationing.
He had dropped his iPhone 3gs and smashed the upper glass, but found me back at home on-line and wanted to set things up for when he got back.
If you live in northwest California you may have encountered Jeff. For 22 years he worked for Washington Mutual which had branches in Arcata, Cloverdale, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Novato and he traveled among them for his work. As with all retail bankers, he has a great personality.
You don't hear about Washington Mutual anymore.. for very good reason. The organization was without contradiction the single entity in collapsing the quality mortgage securities (mis-nomer) by being among the first and largest to grant No-Income, No verification loans, which triggered the 2008 collapse.
He works for Chase now (who bought WAMU), in a similar capacity. Strangely, folded WAMU into Chase has also created one of those "too big to fail" organizations the US citizens have been helping in many different ways now.
I'm not saying Jeff was singularly responsible, but 22 years gives you rearward trail of vision.... at the point where was seeing 110 square foot homes built in 1918 sell for $500,000 while only being able to rent for $1100 a month... hey they all knew.
Jeff arrived with his daughter Loren and I was able to phone repaired in 30 minutes while they shopping at T&B Sports for some soccer cleats. The total to get his back looking perfect was $75
Fixed - Total cost $75.

Tim Buchanon called me from Henderson Nevada (89052) about his 5th Gen video iPod
that he had hearing from the right side only from. This is a problem you've seen me fix many times. I explained how to send it in and it arrived a few days later on a Saturday. I had it back out in the mail again later that day repaired.
The part was $28 and labor/return shipping was $40
Fixed - Total cost $68.
