David Townsend called from here in Santa Rosa (95404).
He works as a Physical Therapist helping people (frequently bicyclists) with knee problems.
Dave's iPhone 3G was experiencing extremely short battery life and used the internet to learn more about iPhone batteries and came accross me and the article I had written about Lithium Ion batteries and their use in iPods and iPhones
We set up a time for him to dropp his phone off, which turned out to be while he was out on a bike ride himself. An hour later he was to swing by to get it with the new battery in it.
Fixed - Total cost $50.

JP Fahy lives in Rohnert Park (94928) works at Manley Honda.
I went to school with Brian Manley and have watched his business i the car industry grow over the past 30 years.
His wife called telling me about his iPhone 3GS that had been dropped while he was diving for either crab or abalone over the weekend. While getting out of his car... he dropped the phone and then later it was run over by the car before knowing it was missing.
Oddly only the upper glass was broken, which is a testimony to the 3GS durablilty which I mention continually. I mention the i4 as being as frail as a saltine cracker.
The repair of the was set for later in the afternoon and cost just $59. This is his wife Jennifer getting the phone.
Fixed - Total cost $59.
