Chase Jeffers sent me an email on a Sunday morning from San Anselmo California (94960) that read,
Hello,
My problem Is Exactly what was described in the email on your craigslist add. The one from Daivd Reclite who works at Autodesk. Everything seems to work fine but the screen is very dim and you can only see it from the right angle in the right light.
Do you have any idea's for me?

He had read a story about a repair I did for a family where their 3GS was water immersed and I was able to bring it back to life completely.
We messaged back and forth with the result being him bringing up his iPhoje for me to work on. The story was that his girlfriend had dropped it into a sink of water a few months earlier and he had basically set it aside. It was while he was looking to buy a replacement 3GS that he found me on Craigslist.
I went through the phone and by the end of the afternoon was able to get it all working including hte Blue tooth and WiFi connectivity.
I had to replace the LCD and that part was $45.
Works beautifully, total cost $105
Fixed - Total cost $105.
