Nancy Town lives in Eureka California (95503). There isn't anyone that repairs iPods up there, I'm the nearest thing there is. She sent me her 6th Gen video iPod with a note that read,
"Hi Frank,
Enclosed you'll find my iPo. We communicated by email last week and you suggested the sound problem is a common one. I can't hear from the right side. I don't remember dropping it but I do sleep with it occiasionally and maybe that had something to do with it.
She sent the needed $68 repair payment in by PayPal and I had it fixed, working and on the way back to her within a day.
Total cost for this was $68
An iPod Touch 4th Gen 32GB version arrived from Susan Poe, who lives in Ewing Illinois (62836). The note that arrived with it was brief.
"Dropped iPod on concrete floor, still works fine, just busted glass!"
I had the repair done the next day and it was on the way back again. Total cost of repair, including return shipping was $79. Payment was made through PayPal.
