Eric Ruiz works at Fed Ex in Texas.
He called from Donna, Texas where he lives to discuss the problem he was having with his iPod. After listening, I knew he needed a new drive. When I told him this he suggested that maybe we could move him up from a 30GB to a 60 or 80.

I told him to wait until I knew more about what the problem was specifically when it got here.

He sent it in by FED EX and it was the drive. We agreed to move him into a 60GB drive instead, which required the thicker backplate and a different wire harness and battery.

I agreed to supply him with a new backplate and wire harness at no charge but he would need to pay for the drive and the battery.

The drive was $80, the Battery was $26 and the labor/return shipping was $40.

Fixed - Total cost..$146.

Jeanne Montgomery emailed from her home in Indio, California near Palm Springs.
Her daughter dropped her Red 4GB Nano 2nd Gen into a full bathroom sink and needed to see if she could get Skye's iPod back working again.

It arrived a few days later... dead of course but I went to work on it and now... it works perfectly... no additional parts were required.

Fixed - Total cost $40.

Willy Burnes lives in Sebastopol, California.
He owns a wine direct sales business called Wine Select which a friend of mine Al Liner works at. Willy also owns sumbody.com.

Willy's daughter dropped her iPod with the headphones plugged in and created the ever famous hearing from the left side of the earbuds only problem.

He stopped by and left her Pod off for an hour, so I could repair it for her.

The headphone wire harness was $35 and labor was $40

Fixed - Total cost..$75.

Debbie Ramirez is local. She lives in Sebastopol
and dropped her iPod in water and brought it to me correct corrosion problems.

I needed it for 2 hours and had put right its problems.

Fixed - Total cost..$40.
