Elisa Baril owns a 'compliance' business here in Santa Rosa, California.
Compliance is a part of the wine industry where you keep abreast of the state laws related to wine shipments and delivery.
When prohibition ended it was only because the federal government agreed to cede to each state law over how alcohol would be treated within their borders. This has lead to propping up a faulty wholesale distribution industry in about all states with wineries and distilleries being prohibited from direct sale to adults in over half the states. It's a very archaic system and Elise keeps wineries within each state's laws for wineries helping them to "Comply with the regulations of each state".
Elise's Black 5th Generation video iPod had the classic hearing from one side problem.
She brought it by and left it off for the day. When her work was finished that evening
she came for it fixed.
Works perfectly, the part was $28 and labor was $40
Fixed - Total cost $68.
