Sherman Chen emailed me from San Bruno, California
where he lives and is a student. He had smashed his LCD screen in the 5th Gen video iPod he used and decided that he should change the battery while I was already in the device.

He drove up and left it with for 40 minutes so I could perform the surgery.

The LCD was $33 and the battery was $23, with the labor $40 so it was a total of $96

Fixed - Total cost $96.

John Tran emailed me from New Orleans, Louisiana
to discuss his iPod. His 5th Gen video iPod had a broken screen. Like many people he was a bit skeptical about the idea of a one man business even though he saw many people in photos on the site. What he wanted was a solid affirmation of the guy I am and my sense of responsiveness. I emailed him back the moment I read his initial message which is my habit and he was assured I'm the fellow I seem to be.

His iPod arrive a few days later and I changed out the LCD and sent it back the same day.

It was $33 for the LCD and $40 for labor/return shipping.

Fixed - Total cost $73.

Shary Smith sent in another iPod from Dickinson in North Dakota
that had gone through the washing machine. In this instance I wasn't able to get the Nano 2nd Generation iPod working again.

It was sent back with a $20 refund on the forty she sent.
