Julie Braugher called from Glenshaw, Pennsylvania with a problem she was having with her husband Bob's scroll wheel
on his Nano 1st Generation. Flakey scroll wheels on this model are come from one of two circumstances, either the scroll wheel or the data port on the logic board failing.

Most of the time it's the data port/logic board problem.

She sent it in from Glenshaw, Pennsylvania and I replaced the scroll wheel and tested it pretty deeply.

Seems to work just the way it should now and wasn't a data port problem.

Brenda Mendieta email from Richmond, California
on a Sunday morning to see if I was available to replace the cracked LCD in her son Juan's iPod. Although I had a full day of Sunday yard work set for the day, I always make time for someone that wants to visit and get their iPod repaired while they wait.

They arrived between noon and 1PM. I had the iPod repaired for them about 40 minutes later. They were at a nearby mall when I called them and came back to get it a few minutes later.

This is Juan holding his repaired iPod. Total cost was $73.

Fixed - Total cost $73.

Lisa Hewson called one morning from here in Santa Rosa
her son Matt had hearing from just one side... you know the left side.

She brought it by a while later and picked it up repaired an hour after that.

It was $35 for the headphone jack part and $40 labor.

Instead of a new iPod for Matt at $250 it cost just $75

Fixed - Total cost $75.
