Joel Henry has a yard mowing business and lives here in Santa Rosa california.
He somehow dropped his iPhone 3GS and needed the upper glass replaced. He called at 3:40pm to set up a time to bring it in... "as soon as possible" so I set an appointment for him at 4pm.
While I was replacing the broken part he used my iPad to get feel for it. When I was finished with his phone we discussed the iPad and it's place in home and society. Having had it a few weeks I can see it's path pretty clearly.
The iPhone repair was $75.
Fixed - Total cost $75.

Daniel Edwards called me from Bakersfield California (93309) about his first Gen iPod Touch.
He was getting sound from just one ear through his earbuds and was getting sound through the docking port perfectly.
I know this problem and have fixed it several time. He dropped the device with his earbuds plugged in and it drove the plug far enough into the jack to snap off the left side connection permanently leaving only right side hearing.
The replacement headphone jack has to replaced with a high temp soldering pencil.
The part is $29 and labor was $60
Fixed - Total cost $79.
