Edward Bender called me from Owings Maryland (20736).
He works for Cenzic which is a web applications security business. He contacted me in early December about his 16GB iPod Touch 3rd Gen that had been put through the washing machine and dryer.

Strangely, it took him 7 weeks to actually get to sending it in. That is a dismaying amount of time in a matter like this, but I went to work on it. In spite of the time I was able to get it working again completely even though it arrives COMPLETELY DEAD. It needed the LCD replaced and that part was $43

For $103 he got Touch back with working WiFi and all of files safely on it

Fixed - Total cost $103.

Chery Ann Rumohr lives in Mill Brae California (94030) and works for the US Postal Service.
She has an 32GB 3rd Gen iPod Touch (brand new) that loves dearly and uses at work. She also uses it at home. It was at home when she dropped it in her toilet, ( you know I don't even ask anymore ). I worked on it several days and was having a devil of time getting it work. I even called her explaining I couldn't make it (the WiFi) work and was giving up and would be sending it back with a $30 refund.

Then I waited it out a couple of days and came back with a another possible solution and *that* worked. It was just $60 to get her $400 Touch back working perfectly with all of her files still on it *and* the WiFi working.

Fixed - Total cost $60.
