Molly DiPerna called me from San Diego California (92101) about an iPod
that lead into a conversation about two iPods and a Blackberry curve. They all arrived a few days later. The first was the 3rd Gen iPod Touch that belonged to her son Brandon. It had gone through the washing machine and there was some doubt in her mind that I could ever get it going again.
By the second day it was here I was able to get it all going again including the WiFi. It did require a replacement upper glass/digitizer. The total cost to get their iPod back working was $89
Fixed - Total cost $89.

I got an email from Mia Munselle on e night. She owns a hair solon in Geyserville California (95441),
called "Studio 128" (because it's on Highway 128 in Geyserville). The email read,
"hi there,
i saw you ad on craigslist. I have an ipod video 30 gig that I bought used. anyway, the sound only comes out one ear bud or one speaker in my car. I think i may have the prob that you address in your ad. Anyway, i live in Cloverdale and will be in Santa Rosa tomorrow (tues, Jan 26). do you ever allow people to drop and pick up at your house/place where you repair or do you prefer mail only. please let me know. thanks, mia"
I sent her back information on the repair and she and her fellow worker Vanessa showed up late the next day to get it repaired. An hour she came back to get her perfectly working iPod.
Total cost $68
As she was leaving she asked if I sold iPods, I told her I would send her a message with links on the subject. Here was that exchange,
