Hope Gelbach lives in Mill Valley California (94941)
and responded to one of my Craigslist postings about iPhone repair. She has an IPhone 3g and needed the upper glass/digitizer replaced.
I do this work in an hour and her iPhone surgery was a complete success. The part was $30 and labor was $90
Fixed - Total cost $120.

Jennifer McKenzie is a nurse here in Santa Rosa California (95404)
and works in the mental health area specifically with drug addiction. She replies on her iPhone continually. Like many iPhone users she sets custom ringtones to alert her to different types of messages. Because of that she relies on the iPhones internal "speakers". *Plus* she uses an app called Mindfulness which is a verbal Yoga-like stress relief app.
She complained that her speaker wasn't working and could I look at it. At first I thought there was an unusual settings problem, then I started working my through possibilities that included a Restore.
Finally it occurred to me, the speakers in the docking/power module had stopped working. This is un-believeably rare and it *was* the problem.
The replacement power module was $55 and labor for the iPhone work was $60. Here she is with her two daughters.
Fixed - Total cost $115.
