Doug Shannon emailed me while he was on vacation about his iPhone which had a rather smashed upper glass.
He lives here in Santa Rosa (95401) and we set up a Monday afternoon appointment. He stopped by at 3pm, we fill out he repair ticket and he went onto his Kaiser appointment. I work just 3 blocks from the Kaiser Permanente complex here in Santa Rosa.
Doug is a caricaturist. He does illustrations that affectionately accent a person's best features that also peers into their personality. His website is here.
When he was finished with his doctor appointment an hour later, I had iPhone 3G ready for him.
The upper glass was $30 and labor was $60. For $90 and waiting 1 hour he got his phone back working perfectly with all of his contacts and information still on it.
Fixed - Total cost $90.

Tracy Spinks found me on the internet. She lives in Sugarland Texas (77479) and has a 16GB Nano 4th Gen.
She dropped it in a sink of soapy water, (perhaps doing dishes one night) with the earbuds plugged in. After she pulled it out of the water she heard a sizzling sound coming form the inside.
It arrived a few days later. Initially, it didn't look like I could save this one. Then my work started to show itself and I got it working but it had a white LCD screen. With a replacement LCd I was able to bring it completely back to life.
The LCD was $33 and labor was $40. All of here files were still on it and it now works perfectly.
Fixed - Total cost $73.
