I got a meesage from Lisa Tutino who lives in Simi Valley, California (93063)
about her son Tanner's iPod Nano 4th Gen that she threw into the washing machine a week earlier. The message read,

"Hello Frank,

I am very interested in getting my sons iPod fixed.

It being in his jeans pocket, I washed his iPod last week.

(I found it before I put it in the dryer)

Needless to say, my son is devastated.

I had a friend tell me to put it in a bag of rice to soak up the moisture.

I did that for 3 days, Took it out can tried to charge it.

It comes on, but will not take the charge and the screen is very dark and its

Hard to read.

I feel horrible since my 12 year old son saved his own money and bought this

IPod with his own money and has a nice size library of songs on it.

I thought we just needed to rack this up as a bad experience and go on.

Hoping to buy him a new one in the future sometime.

Until I goggled:

"Can you repair an iPod that has been in water"

And your website came up.

Very impressed with you website I would like to give this a try.

How do I send this iPod to you?

Do you need the charger to be shipped to you as well (because that is one of the problems is that it wont charge anymore)?

Do you want the $40.00 up front or after it is repair?

How long does this repair take?

If I send it to you this week. could I get it back before Christmas? Or am I pushing it?? Will you email me back the progress of the repair as soon as you know something?

I want to insure this iPod being shipped to you. I am a little unsure doing this threw the internet and mail. What grantees do I have that this is all okay to do?

Please get back to me because I am very interested in having you fix my Sad Son's IPod after his mother put it threw the washing machine.

Sincerely,

Lisa Tutino"

I sent her back answers and she found me trust worthy enough to send it. It arrived on December 18th and I had it again perfectly by December 20th. It did require the LCD being replaced and it did arrive by Christmas. On hearing I was able to save it she sent me this message.

"Frank,

That is awesome. Tanner will be so happy.
And to get it back before Christmas is the BEST.
I just paid you the $33.00 for the LCD screen via Paypal.

I paid an extra $5.00 to have it shipped back Priority mail.
I will look for it by Wed.

Thanks again.
You're awesome.
I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family.
Your customer service is amazing.

Merry Christmas
Lisa

Total cost was $73 to get it back working again

A few days later I got this message from her,

"Frank,
