Nancy Taylor called me from San Anselmo California (94960) about her son's iPod Touch 2nd Gen.
He had dropped it and smashed the upper glass/digitizer. We arranged for her to send it to me, even though San Anselmo is rather nearby.
It arrived on a Saturday and was repaired and back on its way to her by Monday morning. Total cost including shipping back was $79
looks good, works perfectly!
Fixed - Total cost $79.

Ray Sexauer lives in Boca Raton Florida (33433) and emailed one morning about his iPod.
The message read,
"Hi...I recently put my Ipod thru the washing machine by mistake. It is the small square one from 2007..They may call it the classic now. Is it fixable?
Thanks
Ray"
I sent a reply outlining how to get it here and got this reply,
"Frank:
I will ship it to you via express mail tomorrow. I just don't want to lose all the music and pictures..Especially all the ones I downloaded from Itunes.
Thanks again and good luck!
Ray
Three months later I got this message,
"Hi Frank - I am finally getting around to sending out my IPOD(Washing Machine Water Logged). We had emailed back in April. Is sending cash ok?
Ray
In fact his iPod was a 3rd Gen Nano and it arrived a few days later. I had it here for a week churning through its problems and was finally able to get it all working again, though it required an LCD replacement.
The part was $22 and labor/return shipping was $40. On hearing the news Ray sent meb back this message,
"Hi Frank - Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again, you are the best!
Ray
Fixed - Total cost $62.
