James Mullick eamiled me from Columbus Ohio (43235)
one night after I had stopped work for the day about his 64GB 3rd gen Ipod Touch. The message read,
"I saw your web page. My iPod touch 64 went through the wash. I tried a few turns at drying it. Obviously still has water. I tried cgarging it and saw a red battery and a white apple, then nothing. Do you think it is possible to repair or did I already blow it? My cell number is 614 xxx xxxx and my email is above. If you think it is worth a shot, I'll send it. Meanwhile, I put it in a bag of rice overnight....

James A. Mulick, Ph.D."
I sent him back instructions and it arrived here a few days later. His iPod is the most expensive you can buy and I gave it my complete attention the moment it arrived... plus James wanted it back urgently.
I needed a new LCD but I got it working perfectly again including the WiFi. The total costr was $137 inlcuded express/insured shipping back.
Fixed - Total cost $137.

I got a message Roxanne Silva of Medford Oregon (97504) one morning.
It read,
"Hi Frank
My name is Roxanne Silva and you did some work for me on another ipod. This time I dropped my ipod in some water, I grabbed it immediately but it won't turn on. :( I can't really remember exactly what your procedure is for sending it to you; so please give me a call after 10am PST so we can go over it."
In fact we played tag by phone until I sent instructions by email and then the ipod arrived a few days later.
I was able to get her iPod working again perfectly but it required a new LCD. The backlight in his wouldn't flouresce.
The part was $39 and labor as $40
Fixed - Total cost $79.
