I got a call from Mike on a Friday afternoon.
Mike is in the Santa Rosa Police department so as a courtesy to his family, I am keeping his specifics guarded. He was inquiring about iPhone repair and we discussed the process and how I trake in patients. I think he was a bit surprised to learn I had been in Santa Rosa all my life and knew of me already because of a large business I owned in town here for many years.
He actually stopped by the day with his daughter, who actually had the iPhone problem. He thinks the world of his daughter and like many parents puts her needs ahead of his own.
The upper glass on her iPhone 3G needed to be replaced. While dropping it off, we discussed that he is a runner, so am I and how I solved some of my running problems.
They came back about 30 minutes and it was finished and ready.
total cost was $49
Fixed - Total cost $49.

Dave Mcavoy got a hold of me from Indianapolis Indiana (46256) about his Black Nano 3rd Gen iPod.
He's a runner and had it in mounted in an arm band while running. The problem occurred when he got home mixed the arm band in with washer destined laundry. The iPod was "drowning" in the wash for at least 10 minutes.
I was able to get it all running again, but it's LCD needed to be replaced. That part was $20 and the labor/return shipping aspect was $40
Fixed - Total cost $60.
