Daniel Wood emailed me form Cedar Hill Texas (75104) about his 80GB Silver 6th Gen video iPod.
The email read,
"i have an 80G ipod that i dropped and will no longer use full memory. i can only synch a couple hundred songs to it. was curious what the repairs would cost and how we need to get this ball rolling, diving me crazy not having my music."
I replied with instructions about how to send it in to me and it arrived a few days later.
In his case I was able to re-cinch some connections that had come loose and make it work properly again.
Fixed - Total cost $40.

Ryan Gregory lives in Rohnert Park California (94928).
He dropped his 1Phone 3GS and cracked the upper glass and digitizer. We set and appointment to minimize his wait and I had the repair done within 20 minutes of his arrival.

Patrick Murphy called me from Sausalito where he lives.
He was one of two separate iPhone customers that day. He has an 32GB iPhone 3GS that he bought from a co-worker. Patrick is originally from Ireland and has the accent to prove it. His iPhone stopped working after I tried charging it using a car adapter from Belkin.
Well that's what he said and I've written about car adapters and how they have a tendency to destroy devices here:
He drove up and left it off with $60 for me to go through. The hope was I could find someway to make it work again, so he didn't have to buy another one. There was also the possibility that I would not be able to make it work and he would get back $30 of the $60 he left it off with but the absolute knowledge of what was wrong with it and why it was impractical to repair.
Two hours later I was able to get it working again with no additional parts being needed. He was releived *and* surprised. Frankly we both thought the phone was a goner.
Fixed - Total cost $60.
