Amanda Kirk lives in Petaluma California (95942) and needed her iPad 2 repaired.

This was the second time for Mandy, the first time was 7 months earlier. In the meantime the price of the repair had dropped about $40.

She brought it up and ran a couple of errands around town while I replaced the screen.

Two hours later, it looked new again. Total cost for the repair? $108

Teresa Philbin lives here in Santa Rosa California (95409).

She has a an iPod Mini dating back 2005 that still works well. Typically by this time the tiny hard drive in this model has failed *and* since that drive isn't made any more pretty much puts paid to repairing it.

In her case the only problem was the life of the battery charge and she wanted the battery replaced. She dropped it off on a Saturday afternoon and it was ready for her the day at noon.

Total cost to get Mini back working solidly was $40 which included parts and labor.

Richard Thompson called me form his home in Baltimore Maryland (21201) about his 6th Generation video iPod.

He had a problem that is fairly common, hearing from one side of the earbuds. This is the result of dropping the iPod with the earbuds plugged in and it driving the right side plug far enough into the headphone jack that it snaps off the right side positive connection leaving left side hearing only.

The total cost to get his iPod repaired and sent back to him was $68
