Chuck Gotautas called me in July 2008 from Fuquay Varina, North Carolina
to discuss how his Nano 3rd Gen had gone through the washer and dryer.

It arrived a few days later. Though I have had good luck in reviving 7 out of 8 Nano 3rd Gen's put through the washer, Chuck's was not one of them.

I got back to him and let him know and gave him the option of leaving the device open so he could take a look inside.

I sent the iPod back with a $20 refund.

Jeff Wright eamiled me from Pooler, Georgia
about his 5th Gen video iPod that he had dropped for a moment or two in the Atlantic ocean.

I have not had any real success in helping salt water iPods but I was willing to give it a try.

He sent it in. His didn't go any better than the other salt water cases I've worked on. I ultimately had to return it with a $20 refund not able to work.

Jeffrey Heaton sent his 5th Gen 30GB iPod in from Lehi, Utah.
It had a few problems. One was the headphone jack had hearing only from the left side. The other was the cracked LCD screen.

I replaced the head phone jack ($35) and the LCD ($33) with labor/return shipping being $40.

It was sent back the next business day working perfectly, total $108.

He emailed when he got his iPod back, "Thanks Frank!! I appreciate you speedy, honest service.

Jeff Heaton

Lehi, Utah"

Fixed - Total cost $108.
